Control System SM-2 (ICSI incl. Trackball)

This Set-Up was specifically developed for the demands of microinjection. The design was constructed considering a very high ergonomic value und regarding an individual and comfortable operational handling.
The fact should be highlighted that the operation of the manipulator in three dimensions as well as the control of the dosing units (injection, aspiration and holding) are operated via the Trackball and both function keys. Thereby the operator's hand does not need to be raised from the keypad whilst injecting and full attention can be given to the actual procedure of injection.
Many other helpful functions enormously assist and speed up the work-process, which specially has a large effect on routine work. Because of its high level of flexibility, this system can be combined or re-arranged at random and fulfils the most different expectations. A large different range of injection applications are possible.

• Speeds of up to 16 mm/s enable a problem-free injection into the thickest of membranes, as well as an accelerated work-process.
• Temperature-controlled Chamber, which is exactly calibrated for Falcon dishes, guarantees a high level of security in the operation with temperature-sensitive cells or substances
• Additional functions; such as, for example, an angle of injection adjustable with the micro-screw, the tilting away of manipulators etc.
